"I was so fortunate to find the North Scottsdale Retreat home. Both Management and Staff are “Family”. They take such good care of my Mom. The NSR family does so much to make sure Mom is happy. They make her favorite foods, they provide companionship, they watch baseball with her and hours of cards and Yahtzee. The level of care is excellent. "This place is amazing! I have not seen my grandma so happy in a very long time. I went to visit my grandma the other day and they were having a Spa day! She was so happy, they offered me a glass of wine to sit and hang out with her. There is a care giver there by the name of Vallorie, she is so amazing and sweet. My grandma is constantly talk about how well Vallorie takes care of her. The food here is so good. I stayed and ate with my grandma. I was so impressed I felt like I was at a restaurant they made her food made to order. During my visit I also got the pleasure to meet the director Janice. She is everything my mom and grandma raved about. She was bringing homemade fudge per a request of another resident. This place is absolutely amazing we truly couldn’t find a better place for my grandma to live."

"My husband just recently entered North Scottsdale Retreat and I can't say enough good things about it. The entire staff is focused on the residents and their care. They are always checking to see if residents have a need, a wish or a want to make their lives a little brighter. They will do whatever it takes to make the residents comfortable and feel "at home". The environment itself is beautiful and set up to provide group/staff interaction and conversation. Their is laughter and a wonderful sense of "family" among all. They told us in the interview they consider their residents as "family" and it's very apparent that is true. On our 2nd day my husband mentioned he liked key lime pie and sushi and the next day that was his lunch! I would highly recommend this lovely care home."

I cannot imagine a better place for my father to be as we enter a difficult time in both his and our family’s time of life. North Scottsdale Retreat is not a facility, it is a beautiful home with warm, caring people who understand his individual needs and personality and treat him with dignity and friendship. My father loves the outdoors, and it makes me happy to see him enjoying all the bird feeders, plants and surrounding wildlife in the beautiful yard. I visit my dad regularly and they treat me like family as well. They also monitor his vitals and have great health care at the ready and I can be involved as much as I want and they are a blessing when my husband and I want to leave for some time off. We looked at many places and always came back to North Scottsdale Retreat. I haven't seen any place like this and it has truly been a blessing to my family and mostly my dad.

Working with MD Senior Living has been one of the greatest experiences with I have had in the assisted living business. As a person in the industry who works in many different homes and settings, they have a wide selection of homes with great care at all of them. The staff are all highly committed to the wellness of the people who live there. The places are clean and organized. Jessica M. and Jennifer E. do a great job being a liasison and are easy to communicate with and reach. They have a support system in place for their residents to age gracefully and be taken care of it their needs are more specific or time consuming as well. I would definitely recommend their homes!
